It was convenient to Hoover Dam, Vegas, and several very good restaurants locally (I would recommend Dillinger’s for lunch or supper and Coffee Cup Cafe for breakfast). It was very clean, staff very accommodating, and a beautiful building. The Hoover Dam museum was neat. My wife and I took the time to go through it and watch the 30 minute video. Very informative. Matter of fact, we went to Hoover Dam the next day and didn’t bother with the tour because it was so informative. Plus Lake Meade is a neat place to visit as well which I would recommend if visiting Boulder City. We will probably never visit this city again but if we did, we would definitely stay here.

This is an ideal place to stay before visiting the Hoover Dam, the museum is well worth the visit before you go to the Dam as it deals very informatively with the history of the building of the dam. The hotel is of its period which is its charm. The welcome at the reception, bar and in the morning were excellent. All the staff where friendly and did everything they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible, Breakfast was served in the dining room, with a good varied menu. The food wa very good and the wait staff very attentive.

What a lovely hotel, such a refreshing change from 'corporate' hotels. This hotel is what we British would call quaint and that was the beauty of it. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The amenities were great, coffee/tea and water available morning and evening. We ate breakfast in their restaurant which was excellent and we spent time in the bar and listened to the singer, thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment. The hotel was in an excellent position for the rest of the city.

We enjoyed our one-night stay at this historic hotel. Parking was abundant and easy to find. The cozy building has two floors, with most rooms located on the second floor. Our room was small but functional, and the furniture was well-maintained and in keeping with the period style. During our stay, we visited the museum, which is open until 7 PM, and enjoyed drinks at the speakeasy, which featured live music. Coffee and tea are available in the common area.

Loved the historic aura of this hotel. The free Boulder City/Hoover Dam museum was a pleasant surprise, definitely worth doing! Room was comfortable and the location was fantastic in the charming historic little town of Boulder City. Very close to the Hoover Dam and easy drive to the Vegas airport. Don’t miss the Bighorn sheep against the beautiful mountainous backdrop of Lake Mead at Hemenway Park, a 5 minute drive away.
